It's been awhile since I've participated in Illustration Friday.  This is my entry for this week's prompt, which is the word, rainbow.

This little painting is an ACEO that is available for purchase here.  It's my first 'mixed media' piece in awhile. I was experimenting with watercolor pencils and my new Arteza markers which are awesome!

The Illustration Friday prompt for this week is guinea pig. The first thing that popped into my mind was a guinea pig who is member a barbershop quartet....I have no idea why. It stuck, so I just went with it.  This is an ACEO card and is available for purchase here.

Here's another little art card.  I have been having fun with these lately.  The Illustration Friday prompt for this week made me think of the character, Lettie Lutz, from the movie,The Greatest Showman.  

I may or may not have listened to the soundtrack for this movie a zillion times.

Here's my latest sketch for Illustration Friday.  The prompt made me think of Pinocchio and the badly behaved little boys who were turned into donkeys.  This terrified me as a child.

Illustration Friday - Pink

This is another one of my little art card experiments.  It happens to fit this week's Illustration Friday prompt.... I think...?  This was a fun little project which was a strange combination of my weird fascination with Blythe dolls (kind of scary and cute at the same time) and also my love of Marco Mazzoni's art work (one of my art crushes... sigh).

Lately, I have been trying my hand at ACEOs.  This stands for 'Art Cards, Editions and Originals'.  An ACEO measures 2.5" by 3.5", the size of a playing card.  They are fun to do and the small size is a bit less intimidating than a large, blank sheet of paper!

Illustration Friday - Knight

The last time I posted anything for Illustration Friday was three years ago in my old blog.  I'm going to try to begin posting more frequently in an effort to sketch on a more regular basis.
